Elisabeth Ehmann
Elizabeth is a former home-study student from Vermont who received further instruction from two teachers in her home town before moving to New York to study with Jacob Collins at the Grand Central Academy. Elisabeth won three of the top awards at the ARC (Art Renewal Center)’s 2009 Annual Scholarship Competition, including a purchase award. Her other awards include: Silver Medal, International Colored Pencil Competition (Atlanta, Georgia) July 2009; Honorable Mention, Atelier Scholarship Competition, Arts Renewal Center, November 2008; First Place, Oils, Champlain Valley Exposition (Burlington, Vermont) August 2005; and Best in Show, Oils, Champlain Valley Exposition (Burlington, Vermont) August 2004.
